Paintball

by Nick on Jun.01, 2009, under My Life

Yesterday was really an astonishing day as I had my chance to have a try on paintball. The day certainly made long especially with the time it took me to travel through public transport.

I reached the Putra LRT station (Kelana Jaya) at about 10:30am then had a ride to Masjid Jamek. Then I bought the ticket to Sri Petaling (The place where Park Leng picked me up) and SMSed Park Leng immediately that I was “on the way” to Sri Petaling. At first I thought it was like a few stops away, but when I looked at the railway chart, I realized that the destined station was located at the end of the railway and I left my jaw slightly open.

I alighted at Chan Sow Lin station to take another train because the one I was boarding was heading to ampang (After Chan Sow Lin the track will diverge into two path, which one heading to Ampang and another one to Sri Petaling). I did make some conversation before that to make myself crystal clear on where the hell am I going (well it’s not supposed to be so complicated but somehow it’s still my first time, so bear with it! :D ).

station

Ding Dong, Ding Dang, Ding Dong….. now I’ve reached Sri Petaling :D

Park Leng was with his Atos when I recognized his face upon leaving the station. We went for a breakfast straight away. While having my breakfast I saw his friends and had a chat with them, among the conversation I did ask about the feeling of being shot, you do not want to know what kind of answer I heard.

Park Leng drove (three in his car; he, me, and Nicholas) to Subang Jaya’s but it was closed ( ON EVERY MONDAY! PFFFT). By the way the place was quite near to Taylors, or I should say it’s after the SJMC. And hence, we went back to the Bukit Jalil stadium(the place where I was alighted, and also somewhere near Park’s Leng house) and there is another place to have paintball game at there.

We reached there at 1:30pm and we were told to “be seated” until 2:30pm because the staff was about to go for lunch, and we waited. Time passes fast when there are presence of friends, it was true; We were given briefing at about 2:30pm, and there we go!

Paintball Field 1

Paintball Field 2

The resting zone in the intervals of rounds.

The resting zone in the intervals of rounds.

We were provided with a mask, vest, marker (the gun), bullets, and a field (duh!). We played “capture the flag”, which is that players have to shoot down two god-dammed heavy bottles located at the opposite team and then they will be permitted to grab two flags (one at once) back to their starting point to win.

The marker is seriously heavy especially if you hold it with one hand (when your another hand is occupied with the mask), it drains all your energy when you’re running and lift it up to target your opponents.

We played like five rounds, in the last round they told us to use a secret passage (which is meant for competition purpose) to get behind another team, and we did. They got surprised and being shot by the distraught Park Leng, and me as well. It was tired but I could have several rounds more if there is.

The marker is hard to use though, when you tilt your marker by a little, the pallet’s direction will be a whole lot distinct! Moreover the wind is also essential to help your pallets to reach your opponent, it’s a game of skill and experience, with a little stupidity. Hahahahahha

Happy mother’s day to all mothers out there

by Nick on May.10, 2009, under My Life

Time passes very fast today, it’s evening already and it seems that my friends are all out to celebrate mother’s day. My mother went back to home town yesterday for a “mother’s day dinner” and just came back, I guess I’ll wish her later.

Haha while you guys are doing something meaningful to appreciate your mother’s effort over these years, I did the same old bored stuff at home. Went out for Mamak on the afternoon because mom wasn’t back yet, and my brother was being a CSI-fanatic, reluctant to budge, hence I just went myself :(

Had Nasi Goreng Ayam, it’s tasty, but the chilli is…biased? it’s sweet and nothing different with tomato sauce, that moustache demon told me that it’s the same, my mind was producing so much “wtf”s and I did not argue for that sauce. ( It may seems childish for bringing up a argument for a chilli sauce, but I eat for satisfaction :( , it’s like eating spicy curry fried chicken with tomato flavour)

After that I made some walks to 7-11 to buy newspaper, and some sweets ( Shhh, don’t make a fuss about it or it’s going to be gone tomorrow). I am known as the infamous Candy Man in high school, guess I’m going to have this pseudonym again.

Last night I told someone that I’ll give a benefit to her if she helps me in something, and she disrespected me by rejecting it. I told her my benefit which hunger by my admirers – benefit is that the person can talk to me. She said ” Oh I see”. GIVE HER DIE! Hahahahhaa

Swimming

by Nick on May.09, 2009, under My Life

Today’s swimming marks my achievement milestone again! My breastroke has almost reached a ‘mastery’ state. I managed to swim for like 20 metres already, a massive improvement compared to my first time.

And by the way Yeow Joo invented a new style – Shark style. It’s cool though, perhaps enough to give people some chills and scare them in distraught. muahahahahah. Anyway I’m teaching it for free, there is a potential for learners to get fame due to not a lot of swimmers knew this style (in fact, only two at the moment).

Got myself crazy today, laughed excessively and made a fool out of myself, but somehow I don’t feel it’s wasted when it’s induced by you, your smile which tasted like cherry-butter pie (wonder if I had one before :P )

Well, well, well, Kean today got crazy too, he has been calling me dog dog dog and made fun of me for the whole friggin got damn day with a slew of “dog” jokes.

This, is what he pays for bugging me…

A friend in need

by Nick on Apr.28, 2009, under My Life

Today, my classmate’s mother phoned me about my friend (her son) and we talked for quite a long time, she’s a divorcee and she’s also worried about my friend because he seems not giving a damn to his studies. Ahh she is currently working so tough now as a single parent :( . She told me to give advices to my friend, but I’m not really an outstanding student, how can I help someone while I am not perfect enough to fix others :( Screw it.

By the way, I have a new haircut today, due to my current popularity it will soon be depicted as the world’s best haircut idol. :D No photo though.

I call today, a friendship day

by Nick on Apr.27, 2009, under My Life

Before going into topic, am I really look that dark? Everyone has been asking “hey why you’ve became dark?”. Can’t do anything to make it fair though :(

Today has been short for me, can’t seem to remember what have I done. I had a drink and chat with Kean and Chris at Mamak before class and we went in late for about 40 minutes, was a little embarrassed though. Nonetheless, Kean is the runner up for the “living dead” title because he did not sleep for last night haha, he used to do that, and claims himself as Imba Kean (Imbalance Kean).

After that, Nick (Nicholas), Chris, Kean, Derek and I went to FTZ (a Cybercafe beside Taylors) by having a free ride from Nick’s Kelisa. He drove up to 120km/h and we were totally freaked out because it will skid man, it’s a featherweight car!

After had 2 rounds(games), Yeow Joo went to meet me in FTZ and I left the group earlier to go home. In the bus, we had the same lame chit-chat on the way back to Kelana Jaya bus stop.

We walked to a cendol and rojak stall at the end of the road and I had a cendol while Yeow Joo had a cendol and rojak. Later I fetched him home and then drove home.

Today, although majority expenses are on food and drinks, but they total up to like…around RM 20-30( Lazy to do my math). It’s still a good day though.

Swim!

by Nick on Apr.24, 2009, under My Life

What shall I say, astonishing? Yes! It’s an astonishing day today! We made it to swim again :D

For today the group is fairly bigger, comprising of Yeow Joo, Jack, Jun Xing and Hoong Yeap.

We reached there at around 9:10am and swam till 11:10am, and I forgot to apply suntan lotion (everytime :P ) today, ended up my skin got darker :(

After the not-so-tiring swim, we had our dinner, and yes, the challenge thing reiterated again. Yeow Joo and I had a large plate of carnivore dish and then proceeded to CHICKEN MARYLAND! Pfft.

He challenged me for another plate of chicken maryland, I’m totally bloated and have a sudden thought that what’s the point of ruining my 6 packs just to beat him, furthermore his vacuum-stomach can definitely chunk in more than I expected, so I suggested ordering 5 cups of drinks for each of us, even water is not that fattening :) . But then he said 10 cups for each, and I can’t stand but to ignore him.

Aww what a wonderful day!

Swimming day, again and again.

by Nick on Apr.17, 2009, under My Life

Today I finally mastered the breaststroke and freestyle, before that I was suck, badly.

I’ll improve it on this coming Sunday, where I will keep practising unlike the days before where I was merely rectifying my problem.

After the hours of swimming (actually we were forced to leave due to the interchange of the life guard shift), we (Yeow Joo and I) went to the same coffee shop… and had a heavy meal.

By the way, in the restroom and dressing room, I actually saw someone naked posing in front of the mirror, I wonder if that gave him satisfaction. It embarrassed me instead :( . I didn’t know that Malaysians are so open-minded already hehe

Before I finished my food, Yeow Joo actually challenged me to have another ‘chicken Maryland’ (shared between us). I accepted his challenge and…we had a hard time after that, no questions please :P

Urgh I am really tanned now. My mother said I looked bad (she said ” Aiyer, why do you look so ugly?”).

Mine :D
